Road Safety Simulator

Some of our students attended the RSA Road Safety Simulator in Trim GAA Club today. They practiced their driving and hazard perception skills on car, motorbike or bicycle simulators. They also got to experience first-hand the dangers of driving and texting and driver fatigue. They also used the brake reaction timer to see how driving environments and speed affect your braking distances. The Garda Road Traffic division were also in attendance and gave the students access to their gear and a short workshop on Road safety. The students received a goodie bag and various RSA materials. Another great experiential learning day for ACS students.
